Mokihana Aquatics accepts swimmers throughout the year with a free tryout with the team for one calendar month or any remaining part thereof.

Swimmers need to be at least age 4 and be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) using any stroke. We have a Learn To Swim program for swimmers who are not ready to meet this requirement. The Governor of the State of Hawaii has called our Learn To Swim program “Legendary”.We swim at the Kauai High School pool on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and on Saturday from 7:30 - 10:00 AM. We have dryland training on Wednesday from 5:00 - 6:30 PM.

Our current dues are $40 per month, plus an initiation fee due upon joining. A family discount for additional swimmers is 50% of current dues. All swimmers are registered with USA Swimming that provides insurance. We bill semi-annually for dues. 8&Unders are $25 per month and not eligible for the family discount. They practice a maximum of three times per week and one hour per practice. All other swimmers practice a minimum of three times per week.
